"Billy to Host the World Premiere of His All-New Short Film for His Fans
on the Big Screen
You and your family are coordially invited to the World Premiere of Billy Gilman's new short
film previewing his upcoming new CD at this year's RI International Film Festival.
It takes place This Sunday, August
13.

Billy will host the event himself - a Country Music Film Showcase.
Tickets are $10 and
will be on sale at the door.
Billy's film includes footage of meeting his fans at Fan Fair 2006 in Nashville plus
two live performances of his new single 'Southern Star' and the standout track 'Billy the Kid,' both from the new CD 'Billy
Gilman' to be released on Tuesday, September 5th.
Billy will also introduce the two other films in the showcase: 'Rex
Trailer's Boomtown,' a documentary featuring Jay Leno and Steve Wright about the legendary Boston TV host and his 20-year
reign as the king of New England children's programming, and 'For the Love of Dolly Parton,' a documentary about Dolly's most
dedicated fans.
The Rhode Island International Film Festival is a qualifying festival with the Academy of Motion Picture
Arts and Sciences for the Best Short Live Action Film for their annual Academy Awards of which all the short films in the
'Country Music Film Showcase' are now in official consideration for.
Advance ticket sales are available through the
RIIFF website ( http://www.rifilmfest.org ). Student, group, and senior discounts are also available but only in advance.
